You mean how come they won the Palestinian elections?Because we all saw how they end up controlling Gaza and it wasn't for the Palestinians sympathy...
Hamas won the elections as a response to Fatah's corruption and incapability of doing something clear for the creation of a Palestinian state...Unfortunately both parties ended up in a fight for power and right now Hamas is not winning anything,on the contrary...

You're question implies that "terrible" people don't "win." In fact, terrible people often win. Hamas is dangerous to Israel and to the West, but their engaging in war in support of their views does not make them "terrible" except in the eyes of their enemies. In Iraq, the Italian soldiers recently built a school for the local children. Just after it opened, American planes bombed it to smithereens. Is there something "terrible" going on there? Ask Iraqis, I guess.

Hamas (& all similar gangs) are no more than terrorist groups! Controlled, financed and led by Extremene Islamic clerical mullah's and similar nutters, Saudi being the prime financiers of all such groups.
Remember, their is no education, freedom of speach, democracy - nothing is allowed that permeats society as the western world knows it! Its total indoctrination imposed on the mass's from the cradle to the grave. Ignore it, ignore the clerics, argue with them, attempt to discuss and debate any issues and your a dead man / woman.
All unelected, ruling by terror, the gun, the knife, the sword. Hamas was not democratically elected. The Mullah's dictated who the people should vote for & as uneducated sheep, they then flocked in thousands to the polls to do the Mullah's bidding! Watch the news media - almost every day we observe clerics rasing their indoctrinated mass's to storm, burn, pillage, rape, assassinate, destroy anything / anyone who objects to their inherent evil doctrine.
If and when civilization, law, order, respect and harmoney ever permeats those troubled lands - Islams vile extreme clerics would dissapear overnight & they know it, hence they ensure democracy, parliments, debate etc will never be allowed.

No one is trying to "keep" Hamas down, they are a democratically elected body who refuse to accept the reality of the state of Israel.
As for "winning" all they seem to be able to do is rule by fear.
If half of the stories coming out of Gaza are accurate, then hundreds of innocent Palestinians have been slaughtered over the last few days, hardly a recipe for lasting peace and absolutely no kind of democracy.

If the Nazis were so terrible, how come they are winning in the European area (probably said by many in 1941)?

Terrible in what way? Terrible fighters? If you mean terrible human beings, that has nothing to do with winning or losing.

The USA has nothing to do with Hamas. They're about 7,000 miles away.
You don't even know what you're talking about. But you're probably used to hearing that. LOL

Because they are better armed and trained by other terrorist sponsoring countries. And have no remorse about killing innocent men, women and children. They rape, torture, murder and destroy anyone who doesn't follow their bastardized form of religion. Other than that, they are really nice people.
