I am 13. We have 2 bathrooms. 1 is my 'parents', and the other is 4 us kids, but my parents use to tell me to shower in their bathroom.
My dad didn't mind for a couple of years, but suddenly he got irritated cuz i always happened to b in his bathroom when he needed it (he could of gone somewhere else or waited, but he likes to yell).
One day he sed he didn't want me going in his bathroom anymore and to use the other. He sed if i did this then i wouldn't have to clean his bathroom since i wouldn't b the one using it.
So i stopped using his bathroom and started using the other. But he still yells at me and makes me clean HIS bathroom as well as mine. So I have twice as much work as b4!
And if i don't do a satisfactory job, he gets pissed. he's going to come inside soon and yell at me cuz i supposedly did a 'bad job'. but i shouldn't even HAVE to clean his bathroom cuz he sed i wouldn't have to if i didn't use it.
Any advice? I can't take the scent of Lysol any longer!

I agree you shouldn't have to clean your dad's bathroom. Especially if he said you didn't have to if you stopped using it. Go to your mom with your concerns and see if she can talk to your dad about it. If not, I'm afraid you'll have to do as your dad wants. He is your parent, and you should respect your parents wishes. You've only got 5 more years to live with them, and when you turn 18, you can be on your own. Good luck.

spelling nazi is right. So if I were you I'd rather go out and get a job, no matter what it is or what payback it gives me as long as I had the excuse of having a job to be busy with. If not, you could opt for cleaning BOTH bathrooms PLUS doing some other chores that might enrich you towards being a good housewife someday. Either way you'd be most beneficial besides keeping you're parents a bit pacified about nagging on you!

Miss, if the worst thing in life that ever happens to you is that you have to clean your parents bathroom, you got it made!!

What are you doing with your time on your summer break? If you're not working outside the home and making money, I think you SHOULD clean both bathrooms. It's not going to kill you!
