What is the easiest most effective way to remove factory glue from a new door?

Acetone Nail polish reomver or paint thinner.

I would try mineral spirits, it will soften most glues and won't harm the finish on the new door.

gasoline and a dry rag && a little "elbow grease!" Hope this helps
