well, many straight people who are humbly asks us why we need to spread out our sexuality to every one or in short, coming out. Well, here is the answer. If my friends and family doesn't know who I am, they'll treat me as a straight guy! they may tease me with a girl, they may expect things only a straight can do and might do something they thought thatI'll be happy but really I am not....

Straight and gays is way too different from the preferences and likes and dislikes. Straights like girls, gays like males, straights act so masculinish, gays, well, some acts like masculinish too, but the majority are flamboyants....

so my point is that, we have to come out so you will know why we act like this and you will know what we like and dislike so we can adjust and live harmoniously together.... don't you think? :))

There's a reason society PAYS BILLIONS annually for advertising, "IT WORKS!"

Its not about whether "I care whether they like me or not, I don't." I just want them to know I'm THERE!

It's stupid that GLBT people still feel the need to keep their identities hidden. I'm not saying it's THEIR fault, mind you, it's societies. GLBT people shouldn't have to feel afraid to put pics of their partner up @ work. Straight people do it all the time. GLBT people shouldn't have to feel afraid to talk about their partners. Straight people do it all the time. And yet here we are in 2007, & society is still such that we are afraid to say or do things that straight people take for granted.

I agree in principle but not with everything you said. I personally have no need what so ever to be accepted by society at-large for being gay. I personally could care less what anyone thinks. You should too.

I aggree we come out because we want to be known for who we are and not constantly confronted with the opposite. In my case I don't want people trying to set me up on dates with men.

Cause people will find out anyway. So why act like they're being dishonest or are ashamed of it?

because it's not normal to see gay people for our society then we have to tell them the truth and to show them we are not bad or even evils.. we are just people like them just we have different orientation
