I'm so over all this PH nonsense. I don't think it's funny, she just deserved it. It's only funny in the sense that celebrities think they're above the law and this goes to show that they aren't, although with her jail time being cut just about in half, and her being released from prison just because she was crying shows that maybe they are. But no, not funny.

yeah, i think it's hilarious! She deserves everything that she gets and then some, but of course they can't leave her in jail for long - she might break a nail lol. Linsey Lohan, O.J. Simpson, Brittney Spears, and Mel Gibson should be somewhere in that jail too. I don't get it - we're all people - why should they get almost no time in jail when a regular person would get two or three years. The judge wouldn't care if we had a rash like Paris did, we would have to stay there. The court systems in this country are retarded.

I don't think it is funny at all. You have made some interesting comparisons that don't necessarily fit Paris situation. Anybody caught driving deserves some jail time because they are a danger. According to statistics, most automobile deaths are caused by drunk drivers. I think Paris' situation is different because of her attitude, breaking parole, not making court dates on time, and driving DUIs and getting caught. But I do think her jail time was excessive. Increasing someones jail time due to attitude is wrong. I didn't know having an attitude was a crime. If you expect justice in this country or any other country you are living in dreamland. OJ's decision was not justice. Since guilt or innocence is based on a so called jury of your peers, you expect about anything.

Paris did not go to jail for DUI. She went to jail for driving with a suspended license twice. Jeez people, get it right.
In September 2006, Hilton was arrested and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with a blood alcohol content of 0.08%, the minimum at which it is illegal to drive in California. Hilton's drivers license was subsequently suspended in November 2006, and in January 2007 she pled no contest to the alcohol-related reckless driving charge. Her punishment was 36 months' probation and fines of about $1,500
On January 15, 2007, Hilton was pulled over for driving with a suspended license and signed a document acknowledging that she was not permitted to drive. On February 27, 2007 Hilton was caught driving 70 MPH in a 35 MPH zone, again with a suspended license. She also did not have her headlights on even though it was after dark.

Driving while under the influence is never funny. Most traffic accidents involving some one getting killed is caused by drunk or stoned drivers.
No not funny Necessary but not funny. Lucky she did not kill or cripple someone.

I find it to be justice... people should all be treated fairly in court. Just because you have more money than another person does not give you the right to break laws and put others in danger.

I feel bad for her - she's obviously freaking out and doesn't understand what is happening to her or why. She is a grown woman and has never had to take responsiblity for her own actions. Hopefully, she'll use this experience to become a better person.
