I heard he had been suspended for breaking certain 'Corrie' rules and I guessed he had been sacked altogether.
What a shame for the other actors/actresses closely associated with his character. I, for one, would hate to see the odious (but wonderful) Cilla written out; she is a truly gifted performer and part of a tradition of great 'Street' harpies! Hope this won't be the curtain for Chesney either.
