usually its best to switch to a semi-synthetic oil before using premium synthetic oil as the engine is still being 'broken in.' I would say after the 2nd or 3rd oil change after using semi-synthetic you should be ok. But its your call.

That may depend on the car that you have. Personally, I use the sythetic oil since it has a higher burning point. I also like the way it pours in when cold. It still will run at cold temps, so the oil will get into the upper engine part faster.

I have had good luck with it and will keep using it until something better comes along. IMHO

Synthetic oil is fantastic. I use Mobil 1 in all my vehicles. I get 300,000 miles easily on my motors. I also recommend "amsoil" synthetic. It also exceeds the warranty requirements for all manufacturers. It works better hot and cold then oil. ALL jet engines use synthetic. More info available at www.amsoil.com
