I think he's more of an April Fool's Day kind of guy.

Unfortunately, I think the President is acting like a democrat on this issue. Politicians can be so dumb. They think legalizing illegals will solve the problem because in their eyes they are no longer illegal. How stupid! President Bush, like most politicians, does not live in the real world. I mean when he encounters a spanish speaking store clerk he can just go get his translator. His body guards keep him safe. Bush doesn't look at the negative impact of these 12-20 million illegal aliens getting citizenship. Noone is talking about the crimes, rape, and murder illegals commit plus the drugs. How many more Americans have to die at the hands of an illegal before politicians give a ****? I mean you have to assume at least 10% percent of these 12 million plus illegals are criminals. Bush doesn't care.

Bush stands firmly with oil interests and corporate interests ... and couldn't give two cents for American culture or language ... which incidentally he seems to find difficult to speak anyway ... he has already sold us to Canada and Mexico via this ridiculous SPP plan, so I'm sure celebrating a Mexican holiday would seem right and proper for him to do ... why he should celebrate the 4th is beyond me, since he has shown nothing but contempt for this country and the American people ....

I'm sure when he was a hardcore drinking man he celebrated both. And since Cinco de Mayo, falls in May and the 4th in July, he still celebrates both-as most of our, any reason will do to drink, country does.

Why would he celebrate Cinco de Mayo instead of the 4th of July? Cinco de Mayo is not the Mexican day of independence. Ignorant people like you make me embarrassed to be an American.

The Glorious Fourth of course. Cinco de Mayo has about as much relevance to American life as Sitendemai has. (The 17th of May, Norwegian Independence Day). They are both excuses for ethnic groups in America to party.

Why wouldn't he. His sister in law is Hispanic and he has a nephew who is running for office who is Hispanic. So I'm sure he attends some function's that are both.
