Well, a 2B pencil is one of a range of hardnesses and softnesses going 4H, 2H, HB, 2B, 4B. A number 2 pencil is a 2H. The H pencils give a thin hard line, the B will give softer (easier to erase and smudge) line.
A coal pencil - I am assuming you mean a charcoal pencil - is a soft very black pencil like drawing with a piece of charcoal with less mess.
You should be able to get the various B and H pencils at any stationary, office, or business supply store and many of them at any place that sells school supplies including grocery stores and discount stores. The charcoal is going to be harder, but the craft department at Wal-Mart, art supply stores, and craft stores like Michaels and Hobby Lobby should have them.

A coal pencil is the shortened name of a Charcoal Pencil, and 2b is a pencil with a specified hardness to the graphite. You should be able to find these at any arts and crafts stores, Pearls, White rose, Micheal's as well as many others.

2B is a specific grade of graphite hardness, and is used for general sketching. The softer grades (3B,4B,5B etc) are also used for sketching. Harder grades such as (F, H, 2H, 3H,4H, etc) are used for drafting and mechanical drawing.

A "coal" pencil contains a lead made out of compressed charcoal. They're easier to handle than regular vine charcoal. At least you won't come away from your drawing looking like a coal miner. Be sure to spray your drawing with a workable fixative when you're done, because charcoal can be easily smeared or knocked off the paper.
