On Iraq, Bush seemed to be practically the last man in America to realize his military strategy was failing*. Once inside the charmed Bush circle, people tend to stay there, and rise to the level of their incompetence*. The Administration has also overvalued loyalty ,tending to shut out other talented people and giving loyalists jobs for which they might not be suited*. Excessive loyalty only enables drift and dysfunction*. Bush's reflex to stand by his man points to a key weakness in his Management style*. Politically, it can put Bush in the position of embracing failure*. Bush's management problems begin with the way he evaluates and values people*. After 9/11, Bush embraced the CIA and eschewed any finger pointing after the massive intelligence failure that contributed to 9/11*. his Presidency has sustained damage from which it may never recover*. It's no wonder he doesn't read newspapers*.

He has no management style because he can't manage his way out of a Cracker Jack box. He stank to high heaven as a businessman. What he did with the companies is what he has done nationally, ran them into the ground.
Bought an oil company, but couldn't find any oil in Texas; company went bankrupt shortly after he conveniently sold all his stock.
Bought the Texas Rangers baseball team in a sweetheart deal that took land using taxpayer money. Biggest move: Traded Sammy Sosa-unmitigated disaster. Took them 7-8 years to recover from him.
Changed pollution laws for power and oil companies and made Texas the most polluted state in the Union.
Replaced Los Angeles with Houston as the most smog-ridden city in America. Cut taxes and bankrupted the Texas government to the tune of billions in borrowed money.

I have no respect for that style of leader. There has never been a President that has made more mistakes. But he firmly believes that he should refuse to admit even one! Grabbing power for the Executive Branch while exploiting 9-11 at the expense of our Constitution, our Fiscal future, the Troops he endangered for his Family Pride, and the goodwill of the world is his legacy. It is up to us NOT to let elitist Historians rewrite this ugly chapter of our History to make him or his management style out to be anything other than the colossal failures they were. One of the reasons I'm not paying as much attention to the candidates this time around is that whoever gets in (save Gulianni) will be an improvement. No where to go but up.

George Bush Jr. is proving to be the worst Leader America has ever had, bar none to Richard Nixon as an example.

Yes! Over the past year, he has endured two management disasters that undermined public faith in his competence: his administration's weak response to Hurricane Katrina, which erased his image as a strong leader, and its botched effort at persuading Congress to accept a deal authorizing a Dubai-owned company to operate six U.S. seaports. In these cases, he seems to have delegated too much authority, lost track of what was happening, and failed to ask the right questions.

Weak not sure, but he certainly is inept! He absolutely values loyalty above competence. Chaney, Libby, Gonzales,FEMA's Brown,Rummy Rumsfeld, list goes on and on and on

President Bush is not a manager. He is the president. I do not understand the intent of your question, or your odd reasoning after the question, I guess you would have to be a liberal democrat to understand it and think that way. You lost me.

I think Bush does things with the right intentions usually. I don't think he is neccisarily weak on his management style but I do believe he is too laid back. This causes him to act later than he should have.
