I have a very large Lab who does it all the time. I tell him to move but he just looks at me until I step over him, or lets say try and step over him.

Hahahahahahhaha.....Yeah. It's not very bright is it?
I have a Parson Jack Russel (The most timid one I've ever seen), and she'll do that. I have just learned to walk next to her, or I'll call her before I have to step over her. Hehe.

bypass and get a kiddie pool -- the plastic type. This makes for a miles less costly and basic freshen up whelping field. additionally the aspects provide somewhat, so she's much less in all hazard to squash a domestic dog via accident. once you're fortunate she will furnish clearly. you would be able to could be arranged with towels, a sterized scissors, thread and a toddler aspirator to help. because of the fact the doggies are born if she would not rip them out of the sack, you punch a finger interior the path of the sack and pull them out. Wrap in a towel and head down rub vigrously. Use the bulb syringe (deflate first! do no longer push air down the lungs with it!) and suction the mouth. whilst domestic dog cries, tie off cord some million/2" from abdomen and shrink off afterbirth. i do no longer enable them to eat it because of the fact in specific cases mom would not sense nicely on it. doggies could be born (on wide-unfold) one each and every 2 hours or so. you could walk her (on lead) and additionally you have a towel and if mandatory a flashlight. in many cases doggies are born whilst they squat to pee. shop mom and doggies heat, yet no longer over seventy two levels F, you elect for doggies to cuddle to mom. If too heat (like with a heating pad no longer designed for canines) they are going to circulate remote from mom and not eat nicely. in my opinion, i take advantage of a 60 watt bulb and reflector in one nook (clamped a 5' on an x-pen around the whelping field) to heat one nook a sprint extra if a domestic dog needs to get heat there. I additionally drape a sheet (anchored) over the x-pen suitable to make the whelping field extra of a sprint cave. i take advantage of a humidifier for the 1st 3 weeks to maintain the air the doggies breathe moist to avert colds. ultimate of success.... playstation -- specific they'd have distinctive fathers. it fairly is the reason of the AKC DNA software to especially perceive who the dad is that if mandatory.

Yes, mine does it, too. He's a 6lb dog, and he gets "yipped" (stepped on) quite often. He also follows me so closely that when I stop walking he runs into my ankles!
