Yes, I have been to several. The last one the Shell Houston Open.
To follow a particular golfer is a hard walk. Especially walking with Tiger or one of the leaders.
I like to get there early, like 7AM and get a seat at a par 3 hole green on the front 9. then after the first 35 golfers have finished that hole move to a par 3 green on the back 9 as close to the 18th hole as possible. It is usually 25 to 30 minutes or a little more before the golfers get to that hole. That leaves time to grab a bite, Usualy there are snack shacks set up along the course.
Parking is usually not bad and at the U.S. Open they only sell just so many tickets so should be no problem at all.

Those tickets are hard to come by, he is lucky to get to go.
Have a Great Time and Happy Fathers Day.

My dad went to the masters last year. Parking is kinda difficult because there are so many people there. Drinks are provided throughout the course for players and spectators, and there are bathrooms about every 6 holes. But I would suggest bringing a fan and a bottle of water in case they dont serve drinks and there is no shade.

Hope this helps! Tell your hubby I said have fun!

i've got been fortunate sufficient with the aid of the years to work out many tournaments. while you're going for at some point, get there early and take a excursion, or walk around the direction, take exhilaration in the extravaganza, they could be charged with exhilaration. it particularly is the time to consume and drink something, examine your tee sheets and plan whe your favourite gamers will tee off . Afternoon, i'm going to %. a gap which will coach some ability fireworks, like Amen nook, and sit down and watch the golfing, merely relaxing from the faster days walk. await your favourite communities, or possibly the main suitable group, and walk out with the gang! Have a large time!

First, find out if they let people take cell phones because when i went,i had to leave mine in the car. Parking is hard (just like in any event this big) so get there a little early. Thier is a lot of walking, but since your watching things and thiers so much going on, its not that bad. They have food and drinks, but thier very expensive,s o buy a water bottle and refill at the fountains. lol. Its a fun experience and you get to see them all up close! Enjoy!
