garden of the gods, seven falls, cave of the winds, there are also some cliff dwellings in manitou i believe. manitou is also a really cool town to visit and is not far from colorado springs.... most of these spots are right around the same area, close to the base of the foothills. some can be rather expensive as well.... last i checked, it was $18 per adult ticket to tour cave of the winds.... they also perform a spectacular lightshow in the canyon outside of the cave at night during the summer. to find out the prices and times of any of these sights, i think most, if not all, have a website.

You should for sure eitehr drive up or take the tram up Pikes Peak. Its one of the most scenic places in Colorado Springs. Then go to Garden of the Gods. It is a park with many different rock formations. Its a drive through park and is near the road to go up Pikes Peak. Its worth it to go take a tour of the US Air Force Academy. If you like to gamble and/or just want to see some pretty scenery drive up to Cripple Creek. Its about an hour from Co Springs up in the mountains; the town is an old silver mining town that has been restored for gambling. It has a bunch of restaurants also.

You MUST see Garden of the Gods! It's just north of Colorado Springs on Interstate 25. It's a very unusual geological area of boulders and rock formations that just seem to pop up out of nowhere. You can drive through this area of rock formations at your own pace. It's fascinating.

If you like waterfalls, you can go see Seven Falls, (already mentioned), Helen Hunt Falls, or make the hike up to St. Mary's Falls.
