Ok, so heres the thing, I just got this car from my cousin and the air does not work. He said that one day the air was on heat and he wanted to change it over to cool, he flipped the switch real hard and it kind of sounded like it might of cracked or something. Well now it only blows out hot air won't blow out even cold air and so the air conditioner does not work.
Could someone tell me what could possibly be wrong and if I might be able to fix it on my own? Or atleast have my husband fix it.

By the way it is a 1991 Hinda accord I believe an EX. Not quite sure on that but I could get back to you if you need to know.

From your description it is just a broken switch. You should be able to get one from a wreck. Check your local Japanese car or Honda specialist.

Does my landlord could desire to furnish me with a heating and / or aircon? the owner could desire to provide you warmth. Open the hood and see if the AC compressor is running while you are trying to get air. If it is, then there is a problem with the temp switch, that your cousin may have broken, or quite possibly you are low on freon.

You may want to take the car in and have it looked at by a Honda tech. good luck

Sounds like the control switch. Take it to a shop and get an estimate.
