I really don't know what that is, and I dont have a gynocologist to go to, because I have no insurance at the moment.. can anyone help?

Itching is a classic symptom of yeast infection as well as discharge that is like the consistency of cottage cheese. Redness can also occur.

Because of not having insurance right now check with your city's health dept to see if they offer a free clinic that might be able to help. If not check to see if there is a Medical School close to your area that you can go to to get this checked out to see if you do have a yeast infection or something else going on.

Usually a white clumpy discharge, a slightly fowl smell, itching and sometimes pain. Eat more yogurt and you could get Monistat or Vagisil over the counter. You could also take an OTC medication called AZO if you don't like yogurt which has the same active enzymes in it.

Usually it itches and burns when you have a yeast infection. Having just the one symptom is rare, but possible. Try to find a free clinic in your area, there are a lot around. They'll be able to help you more than we will.

Try to get to one....sounds like it. The discharge is clumpy, like cottage cheese, and your vulva usually itch. You can always go to the store and pick up Monastat 7 or something like that...its what you would be perscibed anyhow. Try to see a clinic doctor though----from what I understand, yeast infections can turn into trich after a while.

All the previous posts give good descriptions of signs/symptoms and drug stores do offer a good selection of OTC treatments. There is also a test kit that is available OTC that you can use ro determine if it is yeast..........talk to a pharmacist.
