ok. so, yeh, i know i should get a new hobby. but i'd just like some books to read during the summer. and ive wanted to volenteer @ teh humaine society, but im too young i think. i looked it up, and there was some problem i remember... oh, and to KBW3, Im thinking about reading something different, like Pride and Prejudice. and to teh glitz and the glam, the secrets of my hollywood life books are pretty good. the only problem is that the first and second book have the same BASIC(not exactly the same story) but the same basic story-line. liek for example, (this isnt teh story for secrets of my hollywood life, its just an example) lets say the first book was liek popular girls best friend falls for teh popular girl's bf. and tehn in the 2nd book, teh best friend becomes popular girl and has to compete with a new best friend for the new popular girl's bf. so, heres a suggestion... only read teh first book. (i mean, u can read teh second, but i was dissapointed)

Hon if you have read that many girly teen books, you are officially ready to graduate to some actual literature. Try Wuthering Heights, Jane Eyre, Catcher in the Rye, any of the classics. You have gone above and beyond the call of duty with girly books. They will get you nowhere. You need to start reading the classics that you will soon be called upon to read in school. Actual literature. By now, you must have a good case of literary diabetes from all that stuff. It's time to raise the bar and start actually reading. That stuff is ok for a while, but if you have read that much of it, you have overdosed and are ready to move on. Try Wuthering Heights. You will find many of the same things go on in classic books, they are just much better written. Time to put away the cliques and grow up into the wonderful world of genuine literature. Good luck. Leviathan. Award winning author Scott Westerfeld creates an alternate reality of World War I in this biology versus technology tale. Two teens that are supposed to be enemies, a girl disguised as a British airman, and a prince on the run, cross paths and find themselves sailing on the airship Leviathan. The black and white illustrations by Keith Thompson help readers visualize the alternate world. Recommended for ages 12-14.

The Diary of a young girl
The princess diaries

My daughter who is now 17 used to really like Meg Cabot books. She has the Princess Diaries series and some other novels which were a fun read.

read
"fifteen"
"the luckiest girl"
"Sister of the bride"
"Jean & Johnny"
all three of them are written by beverly cleary
and for an amusing one
read
"A Royal Pain" by ellen conford

and maybe "
the babysitter club"
I haven't read hardly any of those but maybe you would like them. all of them are about teen age girls
also try:
Wait for Marcy
A man for Marcy
Sue barton student nurse
Ella Enchanted
Fairest
The Princess Tales(very amusing and corny)
Trial by Journal
Aquamarine
The Sisters grimm series is pretty good too.
"Harry Potter series" is centered around teens
Romeo & juliet( just kidding that is a pointless story)
hope these help.
p.s.
also try
The Everyday Witch
And try The Phantom Stallion Series

I've read the majority of the same books. Try the Au Pair's series or anything else by Melissa de la Cruz, the Pretty Little Liar's series by Sara Shepard, and the Private series by Kate Brian.
How are the Secrets of My Hollywood Life I was looking at those

I would suggest:

Twilight by Stephenie Meyer
A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray
A northern Light by Jennifer Donnelly*
The It Girl by Cecilly Von Zeigsar*
Wicked Lovely by Mellissa Marr*
Uglies by Scott Westerfeild
Also try books by Lois Duncan she is a great writer...
I am reading Gossip Girl by Von Zeigsar right now and it is great so far as well!

I am 15 so keep that in mind, the books with the star next to it contains overly graphic parts, or sexual parts, but they are small and if you overlook them they are really good books
