okay,. well today i was talking to my aunt about some things and then she brought up the interracial thing. and i was like omg here we go. so she gave me about an hours worth of a lecture as to y i find men from diffrnt back more attractive than my own..
and thn..it hit me. she said that alot of black men and women have self hatred about themslves to not date within their race. and thats y they date black me & ppl from diff races. she said that she dsnt have a problm with interracial dating but she wants a dark black man anyway, she said that she thinks i have self hatred because i am more attracted towards asian guys and white guys than black.??
then he told me about the whole slavery thing and how black ppl were treadted etc.. iknow all of that already and how they or we were treated. i was so infuriated that she said im looking at other guys diff from my own race because theirs somthing i dnt like bout myself. thats a load of bullsh!t. i just so happen 2 find asians attrc.thanblk

She is attracted to black men and she probably faced a little prejudism(?). She probably feels that the black race might die out and doesn't want that to happen(too bad it will). My opinion is that she is old school, instead she should tell you go find whatever man attracts you and that he looks good. That's what my mom tells me!

at the starting up, a human is a human, no count number what the race. and also you need to inform your aunt that you'll keep on along with your heart, no longer your race. in case you fall in love with a black guy, white guy, aisan guy, eco-friendly guy, it is your heart you're following. and for the slavery element, that became interior the `previous, and individuals dont own human beings anymore for slaves. ask her how she figures the way you've self hatred for liking someone out of your race.

No. It's 2007. I have no self hatred. When I date outside my race it's because I find that person mentally and physical attractive.

hmm that sounds kind of backward on the part of your aunt...it's not called self-hatred it's called your preference. After all, you don't have gender-hatred just because you go out with guys and not girls right?
