It doesn't matter how many miles is on the bike. What matter is how well that bike was treated. Always look for scuff marks on the primary case and headers. Mirrors and turn signals normally get replaced before they try to sell. Also, was the bike serviced regularly. If he has all the paperwork on the bike with all the services, its a good chance they have taken good care of it. or if they can tell u the name of the place they take it to, is also a good indication. Most bikers, use only one mechanic. Ask the person u are buying it from, How many bikes they have owned. If its their first, RUN!! I have bought several used bikes over the years, and these are things i look for.

with the aid of quantity of human beings who purchase and intensely own Harleys that they seldom holiday. the main person-friendly mileages seen are 5-10,000 on a three-5 twelve months previous bike. that quite would not permit you comprehend what intense mileage is, although. i might evaluate 60 to 70,000 miles to be intense mileage on any harley below 6 years previous. that would not advise the bike isn't in positive condition, basically that that is been ridden. If upkeep is stored up, a harley engine can certainly attain a hundred,000 miles. Thats actual of all contemporary motorcycles, as long as they're appropriate maintained and ridden. in case you "holiday it like hell" then the wear and tear and tear accumulates speedier than in case you holiday often.

Not miles but how it was riden. Lots of RPM wears out the valve train. Some Ninja bikes I would not buy with 12,000 miles. Adult riden bikes that are not reved to red line each shift might last much longer.

well if it is a newer model (2000 and up) with more than 20,000 miles i would say that's a lot considering its not old. if its a newr model with less than 20,000 miles i would say it is about right as far a milege. less than 10,000 is low milege. remember most bikes arnt ridden everday like a car, its a luxury unless ur getting a goldwing. and always ask about proper maintaince, look at tire tread, and scrapes on the bike ect.

Mmm, in my experience of sportsbike riders anything more than 50yds per annum is considered risky.
More seriously around 3k per annum is considered 'average'.
