um.....hymen?

how can you tell if you have a hymen? i just dont want to bleed when i have sex......how could you find it?

well every girl has 1...and how u can find it,get a mirror and look 4 it and if u don't wanna bleed the 1st time break it itself.that's what people mean when they say "poped ur cherry".

Not everyone (although many will) who has sex for the first time will bleed after the insertion. When my hymen (the thin layer of skin around the opening of the vagina-this is in the center of your vulvar area-external genital area-that protects the vagina which is on the inside of the body) got broken as a result of my first pelvic exam and pap smear at age 18 I did not bleed.

To find this thin layer of skin that surrounds the vaginal opening you can take a mirror and with good lighting open the inner set of lips around the vaginal opening called the labia minora and then look for a hole that will have a thin layer of skin surrounding it. When this hymen is broken and someone looks in the mirror they will be able to see part of the vagina (on the inside of the body).

You can also ask your dr to pinpoint it to you whenever you go in for your check up.

not everyone bleeds their first time of sex. i didnt. it depends on the girl and how intact the hymen is or was. oh and by the way, everyone has a hymen at one point or another, it just depends on how it was broken. ive heard sports and tampons suppposedly can break a hymen but i dont think thats true.

every girl has a hymen its strechy thin fleshy skin in the opening of a vagina dont worry it happens to every woman mostly you migh bleed you might not trust me anybody with a vagina is suppose to have a hymen if

sports and tampons CAN break them, it's happened to my sister.
