jail time?

The law is VERY clear on this. Lying to a Grand Jury is a crime - period. It's called perjury.

It doesn't matter if -
- the lie is about a crime or a non-crime
- someone was or wasn't undercover
- that someone else got away with it earlier.

Honestly, anyone that uses that last excuse is just absolutely LAME. "Oh, you can't write me a speeding ticket officer, hundreds of other people speed all the time and THEY don't get tickets!"

Libby had his day in court with some very expensive lawyers and a jury decided that he was a lying sack of $#!7. He did the crime, he does the time.

It's sad that others probably did far worse than he did in this affair and will never so much as receive a censure, but that's life.

Yes he does, more than just the 2 1/2 years he was sentenced with to boot.

For all the republicans talk about supporting the troops, you would think that they would see that blowing the cover of an important CIA agent is an act of treason, and that impeding the investigation is just as bad.

Sorry I don't think Clinton's sex life is as important as tracking loose nukes.

You spell Scooter "scapegoat." I can't beleive that a person can be guilty of "obstructing justice" when no original crime was committed. Who appointed the presiding judge (Clinton) and what do you think his politics are. What a farce. The lady that was "exposed" was trumpeting her assignments on the street. How do you expose an agent who has already announced herself and her stupid husband confirmed it.

No.
Plume was not Under Cover.
There was No Loose Nukes.
Amitedige released her name.
Wilson also went public with his wife's name to get publicity. They want a movie about themselves.
(How do the Democrats, who are supporting Terrorists, keep from being charged with Treason???? Hmmmmm.)

He does deserve it.

The problem with it is that he's not the only one that should be held accountable for it, but he probably will be. That's what's unfair to him.
