What do you make of this? Do you think it has something to do with religion or can you think of a reason for a man to say to a Woman the following? What does it matter what I feel, we can't get married, you can't have my kids.

The man doesn't love the woman he's saying this to.

Give me a break. There has to be more to the statement then that. He is either married or you are from different Religions. Doesn't matter he is a loser. Why would he start aything with you if there was no future in it.

well if you are barren or have had a hysteroctemy or for some reason cannot get pregnant then he's obviously letting you know tht he wants children and doesn't want to get married with someone who cannot bear him children.

now if you are able to bear children and he's saying it more like i would never have children with you therefore never marry you then he is really being insulting and you need to get away from the man.

well probably need to get away from him in either situation. but i think if you are simply unable to reproduce if yu guys talk you may be able to work it out.

Why don't you ask him? So many of the problems on this site could be remedied if people would only talk to each other instead of trying to guess what the other person is thinking.
The sentence you wrote doesn't even make sense so ask him to explain.

Could be religious, could be his cultural custom, could be a physical problem, could be that he is already married with kids.

No matter why he said this thing, he said it and it is time to move on to a man who can offer a life together.

I'd say goodbye. You are worth more than this. There is someone out there is going to want those things with you and this jackass is wasting your time. Maybe cruel and harsh but its not worth waiting and hoping it will change. The truth was spoken. It sucks, but now is the time to stand up, brush the dust off, and move on.

He wants to have a family with kids and if you can't have HIS kids, then you don't qualify as a wife. His feelings don't matter, but his goal to have children with his wife is more important than his feelings?

... can you have children? Can he? if so, ask him what he meant. Are you both adults? Are either of you active in your religions? I agree with Dana L, he doesn't want you as a wife... and if he is slying seeking YOU to talk him into an affair, do you want to associate with such a dishonest user?
