Why is Racism in the U.S. only politically incorrect for caucasians?

Because the Democrats and the politically correct crowd have convinced the country that everyone but whites are victims. It also has convinced the country that only whites can be racist.

Unfortunately true it seems. Even other races can get paid for making racial jokes (ie Dave Chappelle and Carlos Mencia) But a white guy makes a joke and can lose his livelyhood. I for 1 will be glad for the world when racism as a whole is a thing of the past. If the world lasts that long.

That is so true! It's because we are supposed to be more advanced and intelligent, so we are not allowed to say anything that might upset "minorities". In California, the "white" person is now a minority, but we still have to mind our manners and allow the previous minorities to take our jobs, etc. etc. When I worked for the Forest Service for only two years in the late 80's...I wasn't allowed a 3rd year because I was white and had to let go of my position for a black or mexican. It was crazy! I didn't do much about it because I had a college degree,(Supported myself and paid my way through college for 5 years)....so I could teach and do other things. Black people can call eachother the "N" word, but if a white person says it, it is racist! They can call us honkey, white bread, whitey etc. and it is ok. Mexicans can call us gringo, white man, or whatever and it is ok. I have seen this time and time again...only white people can be racist according to our new "politically correct" society. Those "politically correct" rules seem to apply to only white people.
Just like "racial profiling". We are not allowed to suspect Arabs of hijacking planes and smashing them into buildings, because apparently an Arab never has hijacked a plane before!? When the World Trade Center was hit, my thought was, "Those darn Norwegians", always hijacking planes! Actually I immediatley suspected a middle easterner with muslim views, but I couldn't voice that opinion, for fear of offending someone. I think only white people can be tried for a hate crime too. Is this correct? I don't know anymore. The current influx of the downtrodden has come to stomp out the Europeans who made this country great! It won't be long before this is another mexico, Iraq, etc. and they'll be fighting eachother in a civil war like the Native American Indians were doing when we came to this place. This will truly happen if we don't heed the words of President Roosevelt...."In the first place, we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here in good faith becomes an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed, or birthplace, or origin. But this is predicated upon the person's becoming in every facet an American, and nothing but an American...There can be no divided allegiance here. Any man who says he is an American, but something else also, isn't an American at all. We have room for but one flag, the American flag... It goes along with there agenda. If you don't do it there way, even if you have all the facts to show they are wrong, your a racist, anti-gay what have you. It is how to stop debate, One must not confuse the issue with facts. The PC police are anti- American. Must not offend and make them feel bad. That's a great question. Minority comedians can get up there and say anything they want. A white guy does that, and he'll be hanging from a tree by the end of the day. You'll have Jesse jackson and Al Sharpton calling for blood. Everyone calls for equality, well, lets have some....

There are those on the left who believe that only whites in the US can be considered racists because they are the majority, and the other races are minorities. Bullsh*t! There are just as high a percentage of blacks and Hispanics that are racists as are whites. All you have to do is read some of the answers from Hispanics in the immigration section to see their disloyalty to the Us and their hatred of white people.

I often wonder about this problem. Politicians seem to fear a backlash from minorities,and some caucasians, wanting to "fit in" will repress their inner feelings, thereby prostitutting their beliefs.

Because anyone who believes in affirmative action and PC-ness is a hypocrite. Black people and gays can slur straight white men all they want, but if a white guys so much as describes someone as "black," Al Sharpton will get the ACLU and sue the guy.

The race card is getting old and is overplayed. Even many of the blacks who support this forum during the week are tired of it. In fact, they frequently bring the topic up and feel that this it's used as a tool known as suppression. :)
