if someone was interested in you but they knew you couldnt be with them, not because u didnt want to but because u just couldnt. then half a year later they are still bitter and try to get you back by staring at you all the time (sometimes flirty, sometimes stalkerish/creepy)and showing off his new g/f in front of you, and then ignoring you on purpose, but is always hanging out nearby, is it because of enormous pride or do they have a subconscious attraction to you still?

He is definitely still attracted to you, I don't do this myself, but a couple insecure friends of mine pull this **** all the time. He's still never going to get over the fact that he couldn't have you in the first place so I say don't give in to him. If there's a reason why you can't, then make it clear to him why you can't.
Best of luck.

You know, I hope this guy is an adolescent, and I hope you are also. That would explain this behavior. If you are adolescents, then I would not spend much time worrying about it because, thankfully, you will have a number more years to respond to your emotions in more mature ways, I hope. Then you should both be ready. Study hard, because establishing yourself in a career, and a boyfriend that is also established, is usually more indicative of a lasting relationship.

This person sounds like they have an unhealthy obsession. Either avoid them or report them to someone, like the police -- or their parents.

He sounds like a creep, he might even be dangerous. Break off all contact,or if you can't, at least avoid him. He's bad news.
