What am I doing wrong? This is the 3rd Taurus I have been interested in and I'm starting to wonder. Seriously, as we work up to a date, they flatter me with comments about how good I look, how much they enjoy talking to me, we get on famously, we talk non-stop, we seem very interested in each other and our lives, but then after a date, they seem overwhelmed and often retreat. Am I too intimidating as a Libra? Or too much for them to handle?

This may help here goes Libra!
Both Libra and Taurus are slow to commit to a relationship: Libra has to weigh every aspect of the decision, and Taurus doesn't like to change. But both have similar goals in life and a strong desire for harmony. For Libra harmony is achieved with beauty and order, for Taurus, a sensual earth sign, harmony comes from experiencing the physical world to the fullest-in other words, feeling good. For example Libra selects a sofa for the living room based on its color and style; and Scales want the couch to with the size and the colors of the room. Taurus will simply sit on the couch to how comfortable it is. Libra may mistake Taurus deliberateness for laziness. Taurus may think Libra is to picky. But neither sign like to argue, they'll make every effort to smooth over conflicts. Sometimes however, the way these two deal with disagreement can be frustrating. Libra loves a stimulating debate, which helps it find a middle ground. Not Taurus. The Bull cares more about dinner than debating and will give in easily. This tendency to concede the point can be frustrating to Libra who likes resolution. Another differicult area is old versus new. Taurus craves the old and familiar, friends, clothes food and restaurants. Libra loves challenges and change and may get fed up with stodgy Taurus. Both signs perfer slow romantic lovemaking. Taurus sensual, calm nature reassures Libra when life goes too fast. The Bull appreciates the refinement of Libra's romantic ways. Realistic Taurus offers idealistic Libra tenderness, security, and sensuality. This could be the perfect balance for the scales.

This is from a book I have. I am also Libra, but born on clusp so I am a Libra/Scorpio. Hope it helps.

Libra With Taurus:
Venus, the love goddess, rules both these and it does shine on the two lovebirds, that is, until one of them steps out of line. Then the feathers will fly. However there are common interests, and a meeting of the mind and body, making this a very good marital combination. As boyfriends and girlfriends these two get along well, but tend to be a tad bit possessive. This is the biggest thing to be careful of, tendencies will be there to test the limits of the relationships, probing to see what can be gotten away with. Their ruling planet Venus intrinsically joins these two signs. They appreciate beauty and the finer things of life. A large bank account will be needed for these two to appease their desire for luxury. Wealthy couples under this zodiac sign combination will have pure bliss, however poorer couples will be very unhappy. The success of this relationship will require Libra's sense of diplomacy and Taurus's patience. Libra an air sign loves to roam and Taurus an earth sign loves to sit and smell the roses. With understanding it could be a harmonic relationship.

Love & Blessings

It ain't got a dang thing to do with the horoscope since it's the person and not the sign. Obviously the whole horoscope thing is just some man-made bull to get people to give into thinking that's how they act and really end up making themselves unconsciencely act in that manner. But anyhow, you fall into the scenario where you talk and tell too much. If you talk non-stop, there's a good chance you start talking about what you "want in a relationship". And in most cases, it involves those scary words that most men fear...Boyfriend-Love-Commitment....A woman's favorite topic(either of the three or a combo). I bet you if show a little bit of mystery and not throw all your business about you in one shot (or one date), you might get that long-awaited second date. Make the guy work for what he wants to achieve and leave the guy guessing or at least see if he wants to know more about you. If he does, then you may have a shot at seeing him more than once.

I dont know about being a libra, but being a woman that has dated several taurus men, this is all i can say i suppose. I believe taurus are very selfish and stubborn according to astrology. The few I have encountered fit the mold!
But needless to say, maybe its more than just astrology and you haven't met the right man, or taurus yet!

Has nothing with being a Libra. There must be something you're doing wrong just think carefully and figure it out, or it's just your luck.
I'm a Libra too but I never let my self get obsessed with such ideas.

Maybe you should be more on the quiet side next time and let the man do most of the talking. On the other hand men are like busses, if you miss one another one comes along in about thirty minutes. So don't sweat it.

I'm into the whole astrology/horoscope thing but I wouldn't let it rule my life. Give all the guys a chance- whatever they're starsign. It could surprise you.

Don't rule out specific signs. Just go with the flow, you'll find Mr Right.
