Okay, this was just a matter of opinion, but exactly what do you all think of this? Is he dead, or is he alive? And why do you think so?

I think that he is probably gone for good, so JK Rowling could add more tradgedy to Harry's past. But I also think it would be cool if he made a comeback in the 7th book. But how Rowling described Sirius's death in the 5th book, it seems like he is gone forever.......

As stated above, dead, by the express opinion of Ms. Rowling. The "unless he didn't die in the first place" exception might apply except that she has stated specifically that Sirius wasn't coming back.
One reason I'm willing to believe her is that Harry is graduating at the end of the series--past time to put away childish fantasies that one's beloved dead are NOT dead, even in this world.

Totally alive, Ms Rowling has stated the character that died in book 6 is definitely dead, like dead as a door nail dead, but she never stated Sirius was dead and never coming back...hm, which leads me to speculate, but only because I really liked that character, in the books and in the movies.

Actually, it's a fact. Sirius is, sadly, dead. Rowling said in an interview that nocharacters were coming back to life. Sorry. Unless of course, he never died in the first place...

He's gonna come back and save Harry right before he gets killed by the Vman. Then the V'man will die. Cuz Sirius uses is Whirling Ray of Ultimate wrath.

I think he is dead or he passed into a different dimension or something. I am not sure exactly how I believe, this. It could be wrong but dumbledore said he was gone as well, and he is a wise man!

I believe he's dead, but that death is just another type of existence. (There are hints of this later on, with the curtain. I don't want to put a spoiler.)

he is dead-I don't follow you. He died in the book, he is not just going to pop alive again.
