Pokemon Blue Mystery Dungeon wouldn't be your best bet, but it is a little bit of fun.
Diddy Kong Racing, in my opinion, wasn't fun at all.
Mario Kart DS is definitely right, as long as you have Wi-Fi.
Nintendogs is fun for a little while, but it gets boring after a week, and it costs too much.
What would I recommend? These games are tons of fun:

Take out Diddy Kong Racing. Mario kart DS much better.
Pheonix Wright 1+2 are great games.

yea, bur bmd wasnt all that good (in my opinion)
better off getting diamond or pearl)
bmd is nothing like the normal pokemon rpg
