The area around my vagina, there's a little irritation. It's not red, it doesn't burn, but I just feel a little pressure. I did go from liquid soap, to powder, so I don't if that's it. I have very sensitive skin, everywhere, so it wouldn't be shocking. And a few bumps are raised where my hair is near my vagina. People say that's normal. And I'm also about to start my period, in a day or so. The last time I shaved was 8 months ago, and I do get hair bumps(I have them on my legs). Is this normal, and are these the causes?

Also there's no smell, no bleeding, no redness. And my urine doesn't burn. And the bumps are very small, flesh colored, and exactly where the hair is. I might be freaking out, because I never really look at my vagina.

Very likely. Some tips:

(1) Wash your clothes with a non-biological washing powder. If your skin is very sensitive, use a special detergent was a hypo-allergenic formula. Put your clothes through an extra rinse.

(2)After you clean your bath with detergent. Fill your bath, let it sit for a while, and then empty. Alternatively use a eco or skin friendly detergent.

(3) Avoid sanitary pads and tampons which irritate your skin. Hormonal changes can make your skin even more sensitive at certain times of the month. If this is you, you should consider using cloth pads or menstrual cups which don't cause skin irritation (websites given below).

(4) Any kind of unusual bumps should be checked by your doctor or gynoc. Better be on the safe side.

Can't guarantee anything, but if you are sensitive to detergents and soaps you might want to try Ivory Flakes for your wash and Ivory Soap for your bath. Have known a few people who could tolerate Ivory but nothing else.

Try to find something gentle like Ivory or Dreft and see if that makes a difference. You may also have to rinse your clothes a second time and maybe try fabric softener to soften the clothing.

The skin on your vaginal area is sensitive. It could be that you've changed products. Try not using your new soap in that area to see if it changes.

if you have really sensitive skin don't use anything to wash with but summer's eve, or at least a gentle wash that has no harsh detergents or fragrance.
