What else could the KKK call themselves considering how often the membership and supporters employ the crucifix as
a communication device? Holy Sheets? Linen Lifers? They
find God is mute. No burning script enters their temples. To
use the bible as written for sake of hatred is easy. This is all
too often the historical usage for King James and Old Testy'.
Pertinent pages will continue to burn mankind until purged.

They use the word of the bible as an excuse to act they way they do. Everyone interprets the bible differently and the KKK found a way to interpret it to make an excuse for their hate. If you ask me, they are the some of the furthest people from love that there is.

Some religions use part of the bible to justify their belief, the same as the kkk. It is a game they play, if they are going to heaven is a question mark.

They are twisted. They use parts of the Bible that a true Christian living under Christ's New Covenant never would. Parts from before Moses where slaves where kept, thus justifying treating them like 2nd class citizens and also, they CLAIM, they don't BURN crosses, they ILLUMINATE them (although I'll never figure out the difference) burning is burning.

The KKK can validly quote texts from the bible to support their position, just as homophobes quote texts from the bible to support theirs. Who is to say that they are wrong on the basis of scripture? All people who quote religious texts use them to support their own position.

Lots of really evil people call themselves Christians, look at Hitler. They use Christianity to pull stupid people in. But much of it is mental illness. And the very easily led idiots who follow them give them strength in numbers.

my favorite quote:

"never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups."
