How come catholic religions say to not sterotype people yet they sterotype people who like there own gender?

this question just poped into my head right now and i really wonder why?

The Catholic Church does not stereotype homosexuals. She acknowledges their human dignity and their challenges.

The Catholic Church believes there is nothing sinful about being homosexual. But homosexuals like all unmarried people are called to celibacy.

The Church specifically says that homosexuals "must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. Every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided."

Thats a good question. I am not catholic but I have family who is. Its just the way they work, they have different rules than other christians. Which is funny because they condemn gays and see them as evil, yet I do believe homosexuality is a sin. Yet so is lying, sex before marraige, cussing, etc. If gays were going to hell, then so would everyone who does the above. So no I don't believe that if you are gay, you are automatically going to hell, but every religion has an extremist group making the rest look bad. I believe if you have Christ in your life and accept god and live under his rules, then you are fine. And then youo have to look at Islam, not all who live under that religion go around blowing themselves up! But those extremists make the rest look bad. Like i said, you have wackos no matter what religion you are in.

if you are referring to homosexuals, fact is the gay lifestyle is wrong.

Note the difference. It is not a sin to be a homosexual. It IS a sin to lead the gay lifestyle.

The sexual act is reserved to a man and a woman who are married to each other. No one has a 'right' to have sex. The purpose of sex is for the good of the spouses and to bring life giving love to the world.

Gay sex can't do that.
