Conservatives gave Clinton a really hard time, not me, I critized his policies but avoided personal attacks as they show a lack of knowledge of the issues but left wing wacko's have truely crossed the line. They are not critizing the Presidents policies but have a true hatred for a man how has served in public office a lot of his adult life, which is a noble cause, if even if Liberals don't thinks so.

He loves this country and agree or disagree he is doing what he believes is right to protect this country for terrorist. Imagine getting briefed every morning on the threats that face this country. If the US was hit by a major attack today, nuclear, bio etc...how could the libs justify their opposition to the NSA programs etc...that they have trashed Bush over. Take a minute and use some logical thinking before you attack the President for trying to keep you safe.

I am a true Conservative and really disagree with all of the spending and programs, like No Child Left Behind and The Drug Program, but I don't hate the President. It really is sad that the left is well on its way to dividing us to point that may become dangerous to country.

Son of Aman, I hate the spending that has occured under Bush. We are heading for trouble if we don't cut the size and scope of Government.

Henry I can't respond to all of your cut and paste talking points but I will point of a few that are the most misleading.

The country was already heading for recession in the last year of the Clinton Admin and then 9/11. Of course the surplus is going to dwindle. We could have kept a surplus but liberals would have die if we cut spending. And also the tax cuts help bring us out of it.

The biggest drop in the stock market....come on the stock market has set record after record...it is on fire.....i really would delete that one

As far as the President on vacation. Give me a break. The President doesn't get a vacation, he works every where he goes. He can work just as effective, hello moder technology, from Crawford or Camp David as in the White House...bogus

I post this now and come back with more.

I completely agree. Im not a conservative, but it seems like in politics these days the only thing the ordinary people do is follow slogans and hurl insults. Some of the insults are a little astonishing at how absurd they are-yet they are repeated until people believe them. For example, the concept that GW is mentally retarded...It seems to originate in his texas accent and a couple of silly stumbles he made in speeches. But the guys biography is not one of an idiot, and whenever I hear him speak and answer questions, I cant help but notice how clear his thinking is.
Its a sort of primative medieval method of politics. Soon the public will demand that presidents personally fight wars on the front lines, and then our cultural regression to the thirteenth century will be complete.

I don't hate George... (& no, I didn't vote for him EITHER time). I just never believed his Presidency would amount to anything. And you're RIGHT; he WAS the "deer caught in the headlights" of 9/11- & he did the BEST he could. But is that enough "justification"- for OUR selecting him for High Office in 2000, & then keeping him there in '04- after all that's happened SINCE??? People were unhappy about Clinton's lack of morals- but we could shake our heads, feel sorry for his family- and forgive his foolishness. His mistakes hurt HIM- most. .. ... But George Bush's "judgements"- are costing us THOUSANDS of American lives; ruining our reputation with other Countries, and spreading fear, anger, & uncertainty around the World. Can you really be so "surprised"- that people are upset with the guy? Ultimately- it ISN'T his "fault". He loves his Country- & does the best he can. So if HE isn't "responsible" for what's "gone down" for our Country since he was elected- then maybe we are, -for making such a lousy "choice". And maybe THAT'S what people are upset about- ultimately.

I'm a democrat but not necessarily a liberal, the two terms are not synonymous, and I do not hate Bush. I do think he is a complete idiot and quite possibly the worst president ever, but hate is a strong word. He does love his country and so do I. At least I have one thing in common with him. But to answer your question, he stands for everything left wing democrats are against. He's kind of trigger happy, like R. Lee Emery from "Full Metal Jacket" without the military experience and foul language. Serious left wing democrats are more like Cheech and Chong. I do like one other thing about him, he is so funny to make fun of with his "bushisms" which is enough reason for me to listen to his speeches, I find it more entertaining than informative.

I think the reason people are actually saying they hate the president is because they really do. He has lied and manipulated a country.. so have his policies, of which there have been few.. really don't matter any more. He is getting our sons and daughters , husbands and wives killed.. and for no other reason that he wants to... he wanted to go after Saddam.. so he lied to everyone.. I know you can say " well the libs voted for war too" Of course they did.. based on the untruths that he and his regime fed us.

So as a person who has lost someone in this stupid, stupid war.. do I hate the president.. well, I have no love for him.. but I try not to actually hate a person. Do i hate what he is doing, to this country, it's people and our troops.. you bet. As soon as he can be gone, the better I will like it.

I don't equate with either party. I vote based on principles and platforms. In my opinion, Bush has his own agenda. I dont think he cares about this country (or those in it) more than his own priorities. And it's not just Bush, it's many other republicans and democrats in office today. I don't see any positive change in the progress of our country. I see a lot of wasted money, and more importantly, a lot of innocent lives lost. I'm not saying the war was completely unnecessary. I'm just saying his decision making skills aren't up to par to be the leader of our country. And last but not least, he presents himself as a doofus. that's the best word i can use for him. It has nothing to do with republican liberal bullcrap. I hate that. It just has to do with my beliefs on his effictiveness.

He makes me feel as safe as knowing Paris Hilton is off the streets.
Just loving your country is no excuse for incompetence. He has far from devoted his life to public service, its just that lack of knowledge that surprised me when people quote that. He was, in fact, a rather poor businessman whose bacon was saved on more than one occasion by a buyout or favor by a family friend. He himself has said he had a problem with alcohol until he was forty.
When you are President, you have enormous responsiblity for the people you represent...all of them, not just the rich, not just the stockholders. He has baffled all of us by his lack of historical grasp, and thats if you ignore the lies and cherrypicking of intelligence that led us into Iraq in the first place. We have been at war before, we never had to take the very freedoms we fought for and see them rendered unimportant by presidential desires coupled with DOJ unfathomable agreement. Most Presidents have had their morning coffee with a war, cold or hot. Not one thing he has done has kept us 'safe'. We have a border any terrorist can walk over but grandmas are strip searched in airports. Great window dressing, but abject stupidity if we really want to keep the bad guys out. I am not a left wing wacko for wanting a reality check on his policies and how they work, or don't work. All you have to do is see how far and how fast the Republicans in his party are running from his policies to know how poorly planned and unpopular they are.
We are a laughing stock throughout the world and we have lost enormous prestige by going overthere in the first place, its history alone would have assured us a miserable war, our budget busting insistance of going it alone, with a "Coalition of the Willing" that included the best wishes of countries we had hardly heard of and little if anything else. And they have for the most part pulled out their troops without a worry about how they look. Or what happens there, the whole attitude is they had their chance and they chose civil war.

Because he pursues his beliefs despite concrete facts opposing them, and will not yield to reason. He has the arrogance to think whatever he believes is always right. That is what I find the most annoying.

I can't say I hate him because I agree with you on the fact that he thinks he is doing good. Perhaps him thinking he is doing good makes it worse... I disagree with you that they are not criticizing policies. They do this ALL the time, however it yields no results because he doesn't seem to listen to facts.

I don't see how betraying the constitution will help America. If we are so easily able to give up our principles, what does our country even stand for? "Those Who Sacrifice Liberty For Security Deserve Neither"-BF.

I am a Libertarian BTW.

I agree, unfortunately, Bush bashing for the left has become a way of life, it seems they have been brain( ha ha ha) washed and can think of no other way to communicate. It could also be that the party has been taken over by radical anti American zealots, just my opinion.

A wasted question... What can you expect with a liberal news media that truly hates him.

There is not one single reason that can be supported by fact. The continuous pounding by a news media desperate for a white house shaking, president changing issue cant find one. So, they edit, alter and take out of context all they have (war, economy, jobs, polls) to sway public opinion... and it works.

Tell people a lie long enough and they will begin to believe in it.

The ones on here who say they hate him don't even know why all they know is their leaders hate him and that's good enough for them. I asked the same question before and didn't get one liberal straight answer just more bashing. I think it's hard on their brains to try to think logically as they are led by emotion and what they think are good intentions. Don't ask such hard questions it only makes them angrier and for heavens sake don't confuse them with any hard facts it will cause a circut to blow.
