A good idea is to look on the internet for a dance studio or to look in a phone book for one. There is bound to be one close to you. Make sure you ask if they offer Ballroom, also, dont be afraid to try other styles as well, they are all fun in their own way, and some don't require a partner. They might lead you into something that you never imagined.

Check for listings in your phone book, And also maybe your community college offers some classes in that area..if your in high school still it usually only cost $1 to attend...if not offered during summer while your out of school,maybe some classes closer to evening time are offered.Worth a try.Thats what i did while I was in high school...its soo much fun.

Use http://www.ballroomdancers.com/Directory/ and http://www.accessdance.com to locate a ballroom studio near you. If there is more than one, check them all out. There is a great variation in quality depending on the management.
