1. LaDainian Tomlinson- a scoring machine that gets a lot of touches. Plain and simply the best in the NFL.
2. Larry Johnson- all of our "experts" have Stephen Jackson at #2, but as long as I can remember Herm Edwards has had a run-first offense. This gives LJ many carries and many oppurtunities to score. The Rams have a potent passing game with Holt, Bruce, and now Drew Bennett, and I think if that starts to do good, Jackson's carries will decrease.
3. Stephen Jackson- He is a very underrated receiver coming out of the backfield and is very talented. Will get a lot of oppurtunities to score in a productive offense, but I think because the offense is so good, his carries will slowly decrease over the season.
4. Frank Gore- A guy that can do it all. Turn on the jets in the open field, power over linebackers or secondary members, catch a ball out of the backfield, anything. And with a young quarterback leading the way for San Fran, Alex Smith will want to give the ball to Gore as much as possible.
5. Shaun Alexander- A little past his prime, but still very prodcutive. Gore is ranked higher in my mind because Alexander is more injury prone, but Shaun still has a lot of ability. I also think is the kind of the same way I have LJ over Jackson. Hasselbeck is an experienced quarterback with a couple good receivers on his hands so maybe Alexander's carries will be limited.
6. Brian Westbrook- A little high for Westbrook, but he does everything in Philly's offense and compiles a bunch of yards in every game. Even if he doesn't get 30 carries, he'll still get 8-10 receptions. He'll have plenty of oppurtunities to score.
7. Peyton Manning- Great player, great coaches, plenty of talent around him. What else is there to say? He's very consistent, makes good decisions, and is a playmaker.
8. Willie Parker- That man's got a whole lot of speed. He can bust a big one at any time. He's got a great O-Line in front of him. This guy only gets better and better.
9. Ronnie Brown- With a merry-go-round of quarterbacks currently taking place in Miami, the coaching staff will look to give the ball to this guy often. He's got good speed, decent size, and has playmaking ability. He's still young so I expect him to improve a lot this year.
No one will agree this, but:
10. Willis McGahee- Even in Buffalo, this guy was highly touted. Now he's moved to a better, winning team, a better quarterback, a better left tackle (the best LT in the league) and a coach that loves to run the ball (especially since Baltimore hasn't had much passing success the last couple years). McGahee has got great speed, great moves to put on linebackers and secondary members in the open field, and can even catch the ball when he is needed. I expect great things out of him as a Raven this year.

1. LT (Obvious) 2.S.Jack (If he does go to 2500 total yards like he says he wants to, then well.......) 3.S.Alexander (If hes healthy, and he probably is, then he will get to the form of old!) 4. J.Addai (FULL TIME STARTER IN INDY! Do u know how that system is in Indy?) 5. L.Johnson (NOT SO KNOWN FACT: Guys like LJ who have had 375+carries season b4, have always fallen off production wise. Plus the weak O-Line he has in K.C, the fact the only receiver they have in K.C. is Gonzalez (hes a TE!) and that they dont have a idea who their QB is? PLUS HE IS HAVING A CONTRACT DISPUTE WHICH SEEMS AS IF IT WILL NOT END!!! UHOH...) 6. R.Johnson- Always healthy, Always consistent with 1300yds and 10-12 td and he has a gr8 system in Cincy (not an Indy, but is sure close to it!) 7. W.Parker- Pure speed demon! And now, Pittsburgh will use the "spread" offense?!? O Crap. 8. B.Westbrook- One of the top RB's as a runner AND A RECIEVER. Only reason he's this low, is because of the health of his QB. 9. F.Gore- Surprised every1 last year with his PRO BOWL season, and now can only get better with a year of experience! Thing about it is, he is a health liablity (thats why hes no.9) 10 (TIE) L.Maroney and T.Henry- T.Henry is going to the best RB system in Denver, where they have that "zone" blocking scheme down to where as though they can make any average RB have a 1500yd, 10TD year. So yes, expect that out of Henry. And Maroney?!? Now that hes a full time back in N.England with a whole new batch of weapons (Moss, Stallworth and Welker), expect him to go NUTS!!! (If he can stay healthy...)

If you're wondering about Peyton Manning, I would generally say no unless your scoring system accentuates the QB.
LT
Steven Jackson
LJ
Frank Gore
Brian Westbrook
Reggie Bush (especially if yardage for returns)
Joseph Addai
Willie Parker
Rudi Johnson
Travis Henry
Biggest bust potential - Shaun Alexander
That's kind of controversial, but I am afraid of him this year.

Well, in a league with Points Per Reception or Completion, Manning, Brady, and Bush increase in value, but Im assuming that this will not be the case in your league, so the top 10 spots should go strictly to RB's. Here's my top ten and the reasons behind each player.
1. L. Tomlinson-He's on a powerful offense and is probably the most talented man in the NFL at this point. After last years performance it would be extremely hard not to take him as the 1st pick. San Diego's defense will keep teams from scoring and will increase the reason to stay with the running game. When games are on the line, LT is the go-to guy. Manning is great, but he will never complete 49 TD's like he did in 2005, and if there aren't points per completion in the leauge, he becomes a lower priority, but is still definitely in the top 15. LT is the man at 1st pick...period.
2. Steven Jackson- He has everything going for him this year and has a much improved offense that will open up rushing doors for him. STL has a lethal receiving corps that will need maximum coverage, not to mention a very capable TE that was acquired, which will open up running lanes and allow for Jackson to have a greater advantage on the field, he may even pass LT in total rushing yards this year, but probably not TD's.
3.Frank Gore-He proved how valuable he is last year, and has an extremely lethal offense that is healthy behind him. Vernon Davis and the WR's that are on the field will provide enough of a threat to open up the running lanes against any defense the 49's face, not to mention they are an emerging powerhouse in their division. He WILL put up numbers as many of the experts expect him to do.
4. Rudi Johnson- The Bengals are in a diminishing defensive division, and although Cleveland, Pittsburg, and the Ravens have respective talent, they wont be able to stop the offensive juggernaut that is the Cincy Bengals. They have one of the best receiver tandoms in the NFL and a tremendously talented QB with a shotgun arm. This will allow Johnson, who is as consistant as they come at the position, to create situations and make gains like he does EVERY single year. Consistancy and an improved O-line are reason enough to take him at fourth pick.
5. Joseph Addai- No team has as lethal an offense as the Colts, and it has already been said that Addai is going to take a bigger role in the offense (especially since D. Rhodes's departure). He was the only rookie RB to break 1000 yards rushing and is poised to do so again this year. His potential alone rates him a top 5 pick and his talent may prove to vault him higher by seasons end.
6. Shaun Alexander- Yes he was injured last year, but make no mistake, he is still one of the prime backs in the NFL. He still belongs to an offense that can get things done and has enough talent and raw power to plow through even the best defenses. His broken foot is the ONLY reason he wasnt placed as a top 3 back for this fantasy season, but the "risk" far outshines the reward. Teams cannot keep up with talent like his and he has the surrounding offense to make things happen.
7. Willie Parker- Pittsburg has always been a pound-it-out running team. Parker showed that he has the power to get things done at the goal line, not to mention the speed to accumulate yardage. Within their division, Pittsburg plays the Browns twice and the Ravens. The Browns are too young and always have trouble with their offense, as does the Ravens, which means running will be the Steelers choice to run out the clock with the running game when they are ahead on the scoreboard. This means lots of touches and yardage, and possible TD's for Parker. 7 may even be a low pick for him as well.
8. Larry Johnson- I know many "experts" have him as high as # 2 in the draft, but, Johnson doesnt have the supporting cast that will help him this season. KC has WR's that are average at best and this will help defenses focus on the running game. KC also has a TE that is usually the focus of their offense and are having difficulty establishing their QB position. This is going to hinder his season quite drastically. He will still put up very respectable numbers, but not as high as many will assume.
9. Ronnie Brown- I know this is a surprise, but Miami has a new QB with TONS of experience in Trent Green, and a very strong group of receivers. He is not in a "platoon" situation, as many RB's find themselves to be in the NFL, and he will enter the season with a much improved offense. Plus, he is young, fast and strong. Miami has a great defense which will increase opportunities for Brown on offense.
10. Brian Westbrook- Injury has been a risk in recent year for Westbrook, but if he stays healthy he will put up good numbers as a RB and is a true threat as a screen pass receiver. He has a strong QB with McNabb and a great TE in LJ Smith. This is enough reason to believe he will produce numbers similar to last year. The division he plays in ALWAYS has trouble with the running game and Westbrook is an important part of Philly's offense. He will put up top ten numbers this season!!!!
