Would using silcone gel or those post it notes glued backwards sticking to the backs of them be ok? I wonder if all that would leach thru too.:(

Go with Tom, I am really not a stamp collector but have some that go with the coins I collect. Through the years and reading lots of ads, it seems hinged stamps are looked down upon. Most dealers have them in a page that is black and has a clear plastic cover to protect them. The worst thing you can do is glue them down. Most glues as well as silicone will eat them away after a while. Go to www.brooklyngallery.com the are a big ealer in coin and stamp supplies and sell them at reasonable prices.
