I used to work in a bank where, in addition to having surveillance cameras in the retail banking area, the entryway, sides of the building, and the automated teller machines, they also had cameras on the entry area for the offices and could tell who was arriving at work late.
Other people noted that surveillance cameras are not permitted in bathrooms and changing areas. I agree.

In most places in a business, yes. However, in bathrooms, dressing rooms, or any other place where privacy is automatically assumed, spycams are usually not legal.

Definitely, & they are being used everywhere;
to monitor both customers & employees.
The only restriction would be in washrooms & locker-rooms;
where there is an expectation of privacy.

Ya sure, you betcha. I have them in my business but you can't record the sound at the same time. It's not admissible in a court of law.

In what way are they being used? Are you infringing on someone's expected right to privacy? Alot of legal ground you're walking on with just that qstn, alone
