most climber and rambler rose bushes flower only once during the season and the flowers will last between 2-3 weeks. Some climbers will repeat flower, but they produce fewer flowers with each bloom and the flowers last about 1-1.5 weeks. All the other bush and tree roses will repeat bloom throughout the growing season, but you will have to deadhead the flowers back to a set of 5 leaves. This deadheading will encourage new growth of both branches and flowers. Use a good set of pruners and clean them between each use.

Depends on the variety of the rose. Most last for a few days, but will deteriorate more rapidly in hot, wet conditions. If the plant is affected by pests or fungus, it too will shorten the time that the petals look good.

It can vary greatly with the weather, heavy rain and winds can knock the petals off, but a bush will flower all through the summer.
