Ugh I HATE Twitter! It's taking over the world! Even my school district has a Twitter. It's getting out of control. I don't have any of those three. I may get a Facebook, but MySpace and Twitter...ugh. I agree, I don't see why anyone would NEED one of those, especially one where you're restricted to short, 140 character messages. Blogs I can understand, since some people have actual stories people might be interested in, but otherwise I'm clueless.

Yes, it's totally free. The way they make their money is by displaying the ads at the side of the page. The more people click the ads, the more money facebook makes. Also, facebook has the highest daily return average of all social websites (e.g. myspace, ...). Therefore they could charge more for placing ads. I remember a long time ago I once heard that the facebook creater was offered a few million dollars (it' was either by google or yahoo), and he refused, because he knew it would be worth a LOT more!

Yes, for the most part. If you want to give those cyber gift things , those cost money, but now there's even an application with free gifts.

Yupp, pretty sure. Half my friends use it & I know they wouldn`t if they had to pay. Go to the website & read about it, it`ll say somewhere.
