I got Pokemon Pearl for the DS. I'm on my second mission (i have to dig something up) for the Underground Man. He said look for yellow spots, but there are no yellow spots. Just the red spot that shows where I am. I am TOTALLY confused. =(

You press the stylus against the touch screen, and it scans the area. If you go to an area that has yellow sparkles on the top screen, you touch the screen and you see them on the bottomscreen. Then you face the sparkles and press the a button. It will ask if you wish to excavate, and you want to choose yes.

try going down in the underground at different spots, or stall a little like gain a few levels, after a little time the yellow spots shouuld start showing up. if you do find them, click on the touch screen when you are near them and press a when they are right in front of you. happy mining

It means to use your styles and user the lower screen. It will act like a radar and you will see yellow spots on the walls.
