No. what would be the point. All negative emotions in you, hurt you. I'm against pain. Life is a lesson. When you stick your hand in the fire, you learn not to do that again. Why be bitter about a lesson learned? Life is a banquet, I'm at the table, plate full and a big spoon. Not under the table looking for scraps. Bitter, no, no way. Blessings on you.

I feel bitter with my mother. I am 31 years old & she does not respect me as an adult.... some background: i had my son when i was 17, went on to college when he was only 3 months old, then to graduate school to complete my Master's in psychology, almost completed doctorate degree. i have always worked, throughout my education. i lived at home w/ her & dad until i got married in 2000. i have always been responsible, i rarely went out when i was younger, i didnt want my mom to raise my son.

he's 13 now. i finally got out of that relationship that was bad for me, my x & my son bc my x just wasnt invested. i have my own home, work full time, own my own car, etc... finally found love last year w/ a man who treats me like a queen. i am getting the chance to finally be happy & do something for ME for the first time since i was a teenager. yet for some reason my mom doesn't like it. she trashes me to my son every opportunity she gets (she admitted this to me).

i am bitter that i am a responsible adult & always have been, yet she cuts me down regularly... to the point that i have cut off my relationship with her. it's just too unhealthy & hurtful.
