ok well unsure of bittorrent but i use utorrent also the site you are using to get the download might be cause i personally use torrentspy ,
in utorrent i can right click on the file and put to a higher bandwith and also click update tracker which raises download speed ,closing things like messenger programs helps get faster speed.
why not try torrentspy look for the film you want there and change to utorrent see if its any faster and get rid of the other one you have ,or see if you can tweak the bitlord one u have
another function i use with utorrent in on the top in the menu bar in preferences you can select shutdown windows when download completes which means if the download finished at 3 am the pc turns off so no wasting electric

Broadband speed is a factor--depends also on how old your pc is--older ones are slower. There are free download accelerators out there. Do a web search--type in free download accelerators give them a try as they will be the least expensive thing for a solution.

Take a speed test from here:
http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest
Right down or print your results
I'm not firmiliar w/ BitLord, I use uTorrent. If BitLord will let you set your upload/download speeds, set them as follows (if not try uTorrent):
Max Upload = 80% of total from speed test
Max Download = 90% of total from speed test
This really improved my download speed. Of course it all depends on the tracker, seeds, etc, too. Good luck.

It is the server that you are downloading from. There isn't really anyway to speed it up other than to try to download it from another site.

I believe the solution is very limited... you just have to be patient and take the bills.
