The speed of download also depends on the speed of upload from the parent PC....no matter how good YOUR setup is. the caution sign is there to warn you that with all torrent sites there is a risk of virus infection, trackers, trojans etc.which will also slow down your machine, possibly by uploading your data faster the you download the proggy your're pirating.
Utorrent is as good as any, and I believe the version you may have can be upgraded or improved if you pay some registration fee? not sure, but its certainly not stealing.....however, piracy is. Be careful.

u torent isnt slow its either the isp you use having high latency, poor setup, availibilty of files from another users slow pc or connection or you have security software that scans the incoming data. * the yellow caution sign indicates there is a security risk involved, I have used* but no longer will! the same pgm and had up to 10 downloads at once at an average of 500kbps + and slow as 11kbps all depends on setup, line speed, latency your isp watching you as well as the others pc`s in the load
how many are leeching and how many are allowing has a lot to do with it also cheers

you need to look into port farwarding your dsl router or firewall to fix this issue , also go into the options for utorrent , and turn off dht as this is a no-no on most torrent sites.. in the options there is a test for open ports use this information to find out how to port forward your router
