Heck with the Rockies Website, You can buy tickets from fans and scalpers right outside Coors Field on game day for much less than Face Value. The Rockies are not that good so tickets are in low demand and season ticket holders are always selling their seats. This only works for 4 or less tickets. There are even a few local bars in LODO (Lower Downtown Denver) that sell tickets from fan to fan. Enjoy the Game.

I did same - visited Denver from Atlanta area. Try Rockies web site. You can choose best seats available or a price range or an area of the stadium. Coors Field is real nice. Parking is not abundant so get there early. You will enjoy.

You probably don't need to go to the website and can just get you tickets day of game. Although PP describes them as not that good this year, they are on such a surge right now that buying from fans/scalpers may not be cheap or possible in a couple weeks if they keep this up.
The Rockies website is the best place to go to guarantee. You might also try Craig's list if you are looking for a possible bargain.
Denver has a lot of brew pubs downtown, including Wynkoop (owned by the mayor), Chop House, and Breckenridge all within 3 blocks of the stadium.

On my visit to Denver, I went to a Rockies game & I did the Coors Field Tour. The tour guides there were great, very informative, had a good time on it. Parking didn't seem to bad when we went & there were plenty of places to eat/drink before & after the game. To get the tour info & prices go to the Rockies website.

The Rock-Pile tickets are $5 a seat. I know they seem a bit far but when you are actually there it is really a great view of the game. I would say maybe get downtown a little early and explore a bit. It is definitely fun to explore a bit downtown.

If you are coming for a day game, bring sunglasses, a hat, and sunscreen. Remember Dever is the mile high city, you sunburn much easier here. The rock pile is out past center field made of metal bleachers, they are the cheap seats without being nosebleeders.

Avoid I-25 and take the toll express lane if you have someone else with you. Also take the 20th street exit. Park in the lot that is nearest left field. You can get out quickly. I would go for left field tickets. They are my favorite. Everything is right there and you can get out quick.

get your tickets on the web at the team's site.
They have some great restaurants and bars by the field. It is a good little adventure. And like the other guy said, there's not much parking.
