I have a 4 disc changer and make mixed cd's @ home, but like the radio for its "festive" atmosphere and not knowing what's next. The random setting on cd takes too long to switch from one to the next and will burn up the player anyway.

Some of the comedy channels can be repetitive, but the talk and news channels are great. Plus, there is a variety of music that you can't find on FM. If you travel long distances, you won't have to worry about your station fading away, either.

Not really, It's kinda like "dish" or satellite TV. There are over 400 channels available for the high price you pay and you can only listen to one at a time. Surveys show that most people listen to or watch 3 to 4 different stations at all times. The favorites get 97% of the use and the other 396 channels go unused.

hell yeah! love it more channels than I'll ever use. crystal clear reception and works anywhere. Turns any FM radio into a sattellite radio.

satellite radio is so worth the $$ it is currant and the news is like listening to the television on audio with the right selection of service.
