Well, actually, Sandstorm, I am from the era that I CAN ANSWER THIS ONE HONESTLY AND TRUTHFULLY, YES!!!!!!!!!!!! I do feel guilty if I am unable to have dinner ready when he comes home and also when I don't clean up after supper. I have always felt that was my job. I know I will be bombarded by thumbs downs on this. Men in my family did the yard work and the women in my family prepared the meals and cleaned up afterwards and I try to do that.
Thought I was going to joke with you, like I normally do, didn't you!

Nope, he is a grown man and should be capable of cooking his own dinner and cleaning up after himself.

So I feel guilty if I don't make him dinner or clean up after him.
The truth is I won't let him do anything like that, unless he insists that he does it for himself.

Not guilty, but it's not a feeling I enjoy.
Fortunately, my husband and children and I all help each other keep our home clean.

You always make men sound so incompetent.
My man's a Professional Chef. He aces my kitchen skills.
Hard to feel guilty after he aces me like he does, hard to feel too guilty........

This isn't the 40's & 50's anymore. More women are working fulltime, ON TOP of having to manage the household duties and kids. It's like having to fulltime jobs!...Cook your own damn dinner!

it has nothing to do with guilt...It has everything to do with practice of cleaning up after kids and making them a sandwich.
