anybody know ,i need part of speech ,pronunciation key and a sentence, and whether its a noun or watever

It is an old southern phrase that referred to a group of slaves. It can also refer to tangible property.

Go to http://dictionary.reference.com/search?r=2&q=chattel and click on the megaphone. It will pronounce it for you.

It is actually spelled "chattel."

"Chattel " is an old English word meaning property. It is most ofter seen in the plural - chattels, as in the sentence "They moved house with all their goods and chattels. It is a noun, and pronounced exactly as written. Hope this helps.
