I'm looking to get back into Pokemon. Haven't played since Blue, but I'm wondering whether either Diamond or Pearl is better in any way.

Their is a best version and its called pokemon GOLD!!!!
ye thats right it gold alrite you know why beacuse of two regions(kanto,johto) 16 gym leader ,more pokemon ,higher lvl traniers,see the future of kanto since blue in your own eye and so much mystery left in the game its just the best version!

Well as for which one. They are both the same aceapt pokemon which pokemon you want.
I have diamond but i recommend pearl beacuse of more diamond lengand (dialga) palkia (pearl legend) is more rare so if you wanna trade of do anyhing with it you get a better bargain.
Conclusion: its your choice!

Well I play Pearl and Its OK i guess. If you want the full pokemon peral/ diamond expeirence you'll need to play one of the GBA pokemons (after beating the game and SEEING all 150 sinnoh pokemon you can transfer anything equiped with any item from it to the DS card). If you havent played since Blue verion then they'll be a whole lot that might surprise you like a 3D type overworld, a four speed bike, no team rockett, breeding things (eggs), and a whole bunch of other stuf i dont fel like typing.

Maybe Diamond it has stronger but harder to get pokemons but pearl has also got strong pokemon but not that much so i go for diamond!

No version is better than the other. It just comes out to what you like. The only thing that differs are the monsters appearance, dialga for diamond and palkia for pearl.

Starting U Will Feel Gd But A few Weeks Or months Later When U Are the Best Trainner It Is From A Gd game to A VERY VERY BAD Game..So it Might Just Help U Pass Time.

this is a personal opinion, but i would suggest getting Diamond because you could a n awesome pokemon called Dialga.
