I'd give him a little piece of it, but not very much, frozen stuff is normally full of salt and just generally not that great for you. I can't see a problem with trying him with a bigger piece of homemade pizza, at least then you know everything that's in it, you can add extra veg, put his favourite ones on it, and try different recipes. My son's 9mo and has been eating proper solid foods for a while, babies' gums are stronger than we give them credit for, they're able to chew things up quite well. And even if a baby has four or more teeth, it's usually the front ones they have at this age, which aren't involved in chewing anyway, molars don't usually come in til they're toddlers, so that argument's a dud to begin with. PS Tomatoes are fine for babies, my son had pasta and home made tomato sauce all the time without any problems, many many weaning recipes include tomatoes.

No, the size of the pizza is the diameter. Pi*r^2 gives the area.

A 10" pizza has an area of 78.5 square inches.
A 5" pizza has an area of 19.6 square inches.
The pizza with half the size of a 10" pizza has diameter of 7 inches.

No. The area of a circle is pi r squared. So a 5 inch pizza measures 2.5 x 2.5 x 3.1415927 = 19.6 sq. in.

A 10 inch pizza measures 5 x 5 x 3.1415927 = 78.5 sq. in. It's about 4 times bigger!

Pizza goes by diameter, so if you shrunk it down to 5", it would be half.

consult your algebra book on this one. just because 5 is half of 10 it doesn't mean that it is the right answer.
