ok, i was watching a special on the vietnam protests. and i saw a picture that i loved. i think they were doing a protest at the pentegon. anyway the pic is of hippies placing flowers into the barrels of the national guard. could somebody please find that pic for me? thank you all verry much.

The most famous flower child vs rifle photograph was taken at the march on the pentagon. Norman Mailer wrote about it in "Armies of the Night" and I believe there is a copy of the picture in his book.

I remember those. Powerful pictures. There was another one made from a picture a war photograph took of a soldier being hit. It became a black and white silhouette and was used by many anti war demonstrations. I might be wrong on the period though.

A very famous photo of the time was of an approx 8 yearold running towards to photographer, who 'd been burnt by napalm.

I think they found her later on - years later, when adult.

how abotu you look for it? i beleive that was teh 1968 democratic national convention at chicago, and wernt they police not guardsmen?
