I'm assuming that you must not have had your perdiods for very long and haven't been in this situation before. Well, you can't wear a towel because that would swell up like a nappy/diaper and you definitely can't wear nothing because that would be not only gross and unhygenic but possibly also very embarrassing, so I suggest you do wear a tampon and if you still feel uncomfortable, then just stay out of the water.

Yeah. If you wear a pad it will look wierd and feel wierd and if you dont wear anything you will prolly leak, getting outta the pool with blood running down your leg is not very cute.
Just put on in before you get in the water and take it out when your done swimming. Make sure you dont leave the same one you swam with in, the chlorine from the water can get in the tampon and irritate you. So just change it when your outta the pool for good.
Good luck.

you don't have to, but it's better if you do if you have your period. wearing one is safe even in water, and it's better to feel secured that you won't get a stain after you get otu of the water, don't you think? :)

If you are mensturating it would be a good idea. You don't want to wear a pad, that would not be good.

If you have your period it would be nice. Otherwise there is no protection....and it would go into the water.
