Upbringing in the household (if any) can decide what a child will learn. No one is born cruel, they learn cruelty from the household, or from the outside.
If you give a child constant love, they will learn love and mercy. If you constantly mistreat a child, you will have a criminal in the making. It's that simple.

Well, they think its all fun and games......but it really isn't. Usually, something went wrong in their life to make them act that way. The only way for them to learn......is by receiving their own "medicine" (if you know what I mean). Yet, there are many nice people in this world too. :)

Misery loves company. It's sad to say, but people that are mean or cruel are that way because they are miserable and so they want to make others miserable too.

Because their parents were and it's passed down. Some can escape that kind of thinking but many just pass it down to their children. People have always been afraid of that which they don't understand. That fear shows itself as cruelty.

My honest opinion is that they lead such meaningless, miserable lives that the only way they can feel superior is to be mean to others. We should pity them because it must be terrible to be them.

I don't think that they're any more cruel than people from any other place.
