Yes.
I used to be spoiled & lazy...
Now, I realize what I do is just up to me, & I'm the only one accountable. I like going to sleep at night, knowing I did everything I possibly could in any given situation.

No... and now that you asked I feel great gilt and remorse, but not the most excellent gilt or remorse I could feel.
To do -everything- in an excellent fashion would mean investing lots time for each task, so when I divide my time into the things I do some things get most of my time so they end up having my very best, others sacrifice in quality since they may not be as important (i.e. don't have excellent sleep, eating habits, shave, ironed shirts... etc.)
My very best answer? You be the judge.

not always. it depends on what i'm doing. at my job i gave 100%. dusting the furniture, i just go through the motions. i try to prepare the best meals i can. sewing the holes in my dogs stuffed animals, i don't really care what it looks like.

No, not always, some things are just not worth 100% effort and they are less enjoyable if you have to try so hard. If I did it always I would consider that I might have OCD.:)
